Online Merker’s review of Prats’ concert with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra

spendeHere is an excerpt of the wonderful review from the Online Merker of Prats’ concert with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra (follow the link below to read the entire review):

Horacio Gutiérrez Masterclasses and Concerts in Oxford

piano-festivalHoracio Gutiérrez will offer masterclasses at the Oxford Philomusica Piano Festival this summer.

This celebration of the piano, stretched over a week at the end of July/beginning of August, combines a programme of concerts in some of the most beautiful and historic buildings in Oxford – including Sir Christopher Wren’s Sheldonian Theatre, the ceremonial hall of the University – with an intensive daily programme of lectures and masterclasses.

As a residential course, held in the idyllic setting of St Hilda’s College, it provides full-board accommodation to participants and observers, as well as full access to all Festival events and practising facilities. Masterclasses take place at the Jacqueline du Pre Music Building, a state-of-the-art auditorium within the grounds of St Hilda’s College. Full details of the Festival and how to apply can be found here.
